Frequently Asked Questions – FAQs
What injuries do you treat?
The short answer is, we pretty much treat most injuries, much like a physiotherapist. We assess, treat and rehabilitate injuries such as back, neck and shoulder pain. Disc bulges, tennis elbow, achilles tendon problems, foot and heel pain, muscle strains, ligament sprains, you name it, we probably treat it. Plus, you are guaranteed to get an honest answer from us, if we don’t think we can help, we’ll send you somewhere that can!
I don’t play sport, can you still help me?
Of course! General day to day pain and injuries are what we see every day. Whether that’s back pain from lifting something at work or children, or a sprained ankle on your walk to the shops, we see all sorts of injuries, sporting and non-sporting.
I’ve tried everything and I still have pain, how are you different?
Our main goal is the find the true cause of your pain, we don’t simply treat the symptoms because we don’t want the pain to come back. Our business model is sadly to never see you again, because you don’t need us any longer! We assess and treat injuries very differently, so if you’ve failed traditional physio or chiropractic treatments, we could be perfect for you!
What can I expect on my first session?
On your first session, we really get to understand your story. We want to listen and we want to get to the root of the problem so we can really hone in on the best course of treatment and rehabilitation. Then we will go through some movement assessments and some simple co-ordination tasks. From there, we will be able to give you an honest answer and come up with a treatment plan TOGETHER, we think it is vital that you have an input, after all it is your body! If we have time, we’ll get straight to work on your treatment/rehabilitation.
What should I wear?
Whatever is comfortable for you. Active wear is helpful, but we will ALWAYS ensure you maintain your modesty with towels.
